Economic crisis; where is the money going?

The news tells us about some European countries on the brink of bankruptcy, and other countries with massive debts, creating cuts and unemployment. So my question is, who is owed the money and why are they demanding it when they can see the consequences are so awful for people?|||The money in question here doesn't actually exist.



You see, modern economics is incredibly convoluted, and is largely specualtive in nature. People buy and sell the rights to buy and sell products that may or may not be cretaed at an unspecified date in the future. The value of an item, person, company, or country is not based on anything concrete about them, but rather on the consensus of what the value will be in the future. Right now, the world economy is stuck in a vicious cycle where everyone thinks "Oh, the general economy is bad, so this thing/company/countries economy will probably be even worse in the future." Which brings teh price today even lower, which makes the world economy that much worse, repeat ad nauseum.



Basically, no one is the debt collector, because the debt is all in our collective imaginations.|||Black money is building up. Generally it is in the form of cash. This black money is also responsible for hike in prices of real estates and also price of gold. One day this money will come out in one form the other. The politicians and bureaucrats have made lot of money in India and the money is also reportedly parked in Swiss Banks. Every day one scam or the other is being unearthed exposing top politicians and bureaucrats. The Indian judiciary is very busy hearing these cases and thankfully not even great politicians are spared.|||It is mostly owed to banks but some private investors also own government debt. They are being "unreasonable' because to be reasonable will cause them to lose money. They could also solve the problem by paying more taxes but people don't want to because it would cost them money. "Unreasonable" depends on your point of view.|||as i understand it, obama and his chronies melt it down in a spoon and inject it directly into the blood stream.
